Rustler of trashcans, devastator of gardens
In search of food, for mere survival
Nemesis to pets, a squirrel’s bushy rival
Homeowners unlikely to grant free pardons

Nocturnal raider, a beady-eyed sneak
His furry digits, will grasp at your heart
Mischievous grin will give you a start
But he is kind of cute, if you dare to peek
