A Birthday Poem for Saint Patrick's Day

I look around and start to complain,

What I feel sometimes is a lot of pain.

Then I see how many care,

It is like me breathing air.

They all say, "Happy Birthday!"

I start to look and stay.

I feel super grateful,

Rather than being hateful.

I feel the love inside my heart,

We are all of us a piece of living art;

God loves all of us each and every day,

So instead of complaining I start to pray,

"Thank you, God, for each and every day,

"Thank you for every person for every Happy Birthday.

"Thank you for all the tough times and all the mighty graces,

"For one day we will get to see all the beautiful places!"
