You LOVE food - so much that one day, you eat and eat and grow big.
Everyone loves family get-togethers. It’s a time for food, possible presents, family, prizes, and fun. You always love them because it’s the one time you get to relax and enjoy yourself and go wild with eating. You always tend to eat a little more than you’d like, but it never matters. You struggle to gain weight as does the rest of your family. This year won’t be any different, right? You show up with your partner, you sporting that favorite button-up shirt and jeans with a belt. When you two arrive, there’s more food than there has ever been. Your stomach leaps at the sight and you blush slightly when it growls at you to dig in.

“There’s my baby!” Your mother exclaims, pulling you into a hug.

“Mom, what’s with the food haul?” You hug back.

“Your Aunt Ruth wanted to go all out this year! Hope your appetite is as big as ever, baby.” Your mom kisses your cheek with a smile, to which you smile at her back.

“I don’t know if it’s big or not this year, but we’ll see, right?” You chuckle.

After more family arrives, you find yourself snacking on snacks and desserts. The creamy fudge, the chewy cookies, the fluffy cupcakes; it’s all so delectable. You get some fizzy soda to wash it all down. When your mom announces that everyone can start eating, you go first, getting a whole plateful. Juicy turkey, creamy mashed potatoes, cheesy mac and cheese, green beans, and soda—you sit on the heated, screened-in deck out back with your partner and start shoveling everything in your mouth, and your appetite is satisfied.

Slowly, the feeling of fullness comes quickly. As you continue eating, you slow down, almost panting a little. You lean back and rub your belly—you pause. You stroke it again. Did… did you gain weight? You look down and look under your shirt while your partner is distracted. By golly, you did gain weight, but your shirt is not straining yet, thankfully. You rub it again and go to get more, shrugging it off. You’re probably just bloated.

You shovel in sweet corn, cheesy potatoes, and creamy pasta salad. Slowly, your gut rounds out more to make room for you, and your face turns red when it makes noise. You look down; your thighs are bigger too. Tight, your belt is pushing against your gut. You finish the plate and excuse yourself to the restroom. Your belly is the size of a small pot belly, along with your thighs no longer look like sticks. You blush as you poke your belly; it’s soft and squishy. You groan a little as that feeling of fullness sweeps you again and you find yourself sitting on the floor, groaning quietly. Once it passes, you peek into the kitchen. Empty.

Going in there, you get creamy vanilla pudding, chocolate swirl ice cream, hot chocolate, fudge, and cookies, and sit back outside on the deck with your partner. You start with the pudding. It’s rich and creamy, thick and sweet. Your belly gurgles, stretching and making more room. Your partner slightly giggles; watching you eat is adorable to them. You pause.

“...Babe?” You look at your partner, “Am I eating too much?”

“Of course not! You eat as much as you want. You know I encourage you to stay happy!” They exclaim, smiling sweetly. “Why?”

“I’m gaining weight,” you say rather bluntly.

Your partner giggles and sits by you, rubbing your chubby belly. “You look cute either way! And I love you either way. As long as you’re happy with yourself!”

“Thanks,” you half-heartedly smile, but you still feel bad. Your partner then passes you a cookie.

“I mean it! If you want to be chubby, I’m here to support you, hon.” They kiss your cheek.

You once again look down. Your thighs are thick, and your belly is starting to push against your shirt. But you get a glass of milk to wash the food down, feeling your belly stretch and hearing it groan as it expands to make more room. Your shirt starts to strain as you eat another plate of potatoes and mac and cheese, when only when a button bursts off do you pause. Your belt is pushing against the newly acquired chub, and your pants are clinging to your thighs. Your partner gives you more, another button breaking right off. Then they rub your gurgling belly, and before you know it, your sleeves cling to your fatty arms, and your pant button bursts apart, revealing a still intact belt and a zipper. You groan.

“No more…” You whimper, feeling so full. Your partner then gets you some medicine and takes you to bed, rubbing your belly gently. While they think this is adorable, they feel bad that you’re in so much pain.

But, again… who said you’re done? When you awaken that evening, there they are with a big plate of sweets. It’s extras, and you know that. But your stomach makes noises, whether it’s hunger or pain, you don’t know. But you first get the fudge. Your belly gurgles more as you eat, thanking your partner for slipping you into comfortable clothing while you slept. You feel it stretch on as you grow more, finishing the whole plate. You then lay beside your partner, who awakens. They see your chub and they blush. You two then cuddle the rest of the night.
