A boy, A girl, and a man of blue



There was a boy and a girl who were deep in love
They loved with a love that was hard to get rid of
A love that transcended the love of him above

But one day that love turned blue
When that poor boy’s skin lost its hue
And still her love only grew

The man of blue above watched her contrarily
He would try to end their love arbitrarily
And on his whim their love became heresy

Still, She loved with a love the transcended he
And threatened the faith of those who believe
So she was dealt with, her spirit set free

And still, they loved with a love stronger than fear,
And even in death their love persevered
