The Pilgrim


Feels like they don't like me at all
With their words that cut deep
They just turn and walk away
Like they never liked me at all

Feels like they don't like me at all
With my words that are deep
They never once tried to listen
Find out why I cared at all

Feels like they don't like me at all
With my wounds that run deep
Scaring my belief in true love
Like my love was nothing at all

Feels like they don't like me at all
With my love that runs deep
Took my heart and walked away
Like they never loved me at all

Feels like they don't like me at all
With my pain that's so deep
Torments right to my very soul
It's like I'm not trying at all
