BIG problems for Springtrap
Spring is Flu Season

Spring lie flat on his back on his couch, feeling absolutely miserable. He dangled his long, slender legs off the far end of it, his metal paws dangling as his toes nearly reached the floor. He gave a soft groan, resting his head on the soft arm beneath it. He reached out and grabbed another tissue from the box on the floor and blew his nose miserably.

His voice was scratchy and stopped up as he muttered, "Never going to Morghanna's when she's working with virus cultures again. Non infectious strain my ass..."

He had barely gotten the tissue back to his nose when his entire body was wracked by a vicious sneeze. The couch rocked as the poor bun was nearly folded in half with the force of it. Moaning, he slowly uncurled and flopped prone on the couch once more.
The tips of his claws on his paws scratched along the wooden floor a little as his dangling legs swung in the aftermath.

He let out a groan, rubbing his forehead with his hand. His claws scratched through his fur a little more than ususal, much to his irritation. He has just filed them down and blunted their metal points the other day, he thought. He grumbled and squirmed on the couch as he kept flashing from too hot to too cold as his fever grew and broke over and over again. He kept scratching at the fur of his chest, fingers teasing the edge of the hole there as it itched, feeling like it was being stretched open somehow.

His body was wracked by another sneeze strong enough that the entire couch shifted across the floor an inch or so. He groaned, flopping back again, his neck arching back over the arm of the couch uncomfortably as his toes
tapped down on the floor. Grumbling, he shifted and squirmed as he tried to get comfortable again. He just couldn't sink into the cushions the way he usually could and blamed it on the fever and sweat.

Growling to himself, he sat up on the couch. The springs creaked and the wood made a soft cracking noise beneath him as he places his hands on his knees and rose to his full seven plus feet. He ran a finger under the edge of his waistband, adjusting it before scratching at his chest fur. He gave a soft moan and places a hand on his stomach, suddenly feeling nauseous.

Ignoring everything else, he raced into the restroom and let the door bang shut behind him. Unsure if he was going to make it in time, he just rushed over to grip the porcelain edge of the sink. His stomach twitched and groaned, sending a shiver that ran up his spine and down his arms but nothing came up. Shivering and dripping with sweat he looked at himself in the mirror.

He had to admit that he looked awful. Even his fur looked greener than usual, we and matted with sweat. His glowing white eyes almost looked like they had taken on a pinkish hue as he blinked a few times. His ears on the other hand were just out of sight in the top of the mirror. That was a little unusual but he shrugged it off.

Turning on the faucet, he took a moment to splash a little cool water on his face, rinsing some of the sweat from his fur. He scrubbed at his face with his hands, then stopped. His hands felt off. They felt stiff and swollen. Was this another side effect of whatever he had caught at Morghanna's?
He looked down at his hands and just stared. They were swollen, VERY swollen, almost half again their normal size and his claws looked longer than normal.

"What the hell? I just trimmed these yesterday!"

He put his hands on the sides of the sink and felt a little shiver run down his spine as he saw the way they seemed to just engulf the sides of the basin. Just for a second he had the maddening urge to grab it tight and rip it right out of the wall. He caught himself and shook his head a bit, wondering what came over him. Leaning down a little more to look into the mirror he noticed that one of his teeth looked a bit more pointed than normal and had extended over his bottom lip.

Deciding that things were getting a little too strange for comfort now, he decided he should give Morghanna a call. His paws thudded heavily on the floor as he made his way back into the living room to pick up his phone. He fumbled with it a bit, he swollen digits not wanting to work the screen at first, but he eventually managed to dial the feline scientist's number.
It took a while for her custom automated system she was so proud of to pick up. On the other end he heard a lot of yelling and crashing noises followed by what sounded like an unearthly roar. Blinking a few times, he slowly lowered the phone and set it back down on the table.

"Okay... so whatever she's got going on sound a LOT more serious than whatever this is. Maybe I'll try again later."

He suddenly doubled over, his body wracked by another sneeze! He felt the tail hole in his boxers suddenly grow tighter as another tingle shot through his entire body. He stood back up, freezing as he felt his ear tip bent over where it pressed against the ceiling. Worrying, he reached around behind him to find that while his tail was still covered with his signature greenish fluff it was now considerably longer and thicker, almost like it was becoming a kangaroo's tail or something.

Trying to fight a sudden bout of vertigo, he sat down on the couch once more, the poor piece of furniture groaning in protest. He almost felt like he was going to pass out so he bent forwards and put his head between his knees, waiting for the sensation to pass.

Instead, he felt a painful tightness all over his body, as though his insides were swelling outwards too big for his skin. He could feel his
black boxer shorts drawing tighter squeezing him in sensitive places. A strange pain was coming from the open hole in his chest that revealed his internal workings. The metal parts inside were also changing and warping as the flesh-like fur around the outer edge began to sprout sharp teeth as the hole slip open a bit wider!

"What.. wait nononono! WHAT?!"

Before he could do anything there was a loud crunch as the sofa broke beneath him, sending him crashing through to the floor. He leapt to his feet in shock and anger, only to recoil in pain as his head banged hard off of the ceiling. A sudden surge of pure rage shot through the bun, his eyes going completely red and giving off an eerie glow as he grabbed the remains of the couch and hurled it straight through the nearest wall.

He stood there for a moment with his hands on his knees, panting, his chest heaving as he felt the odd sensation of his breath entering his body through both his mouth and nose as well as the opening on his chest. He gasped, wincing in pain as his spine contorted and lengthened a bit more. The fur down the center of his back started to split open as a series of metal gears began to sprout down his spine and his lengthening tail like the bony plates of some dinosaur or dragon.

"What's.. happening.. to me?!"

He dug the claws of his hands into the tile floors, the tiles beneath his feet cracking on their own as the metal paws stretched and lengthened until he was walking on the balls of his feet. His body seems to inflate outwards in all directions as he's forced to all fours by bothe the pain of the transformation and the rapidly lowering ceiling. He let out a roar of rage and pain causing a huge gout of flame to shoot from his maw, igniting the remains of the couch resting in a bro
ken heap in the next room.

He immediately clapped both hands over his mouth as he stared at the flickering flames hungrily devouring the pile of cloth and
wood. Sparks leapt from the burning pile, trying to ignite the now broken furniture scattered through the Fright's break room. He felt horrified at the destruction he had just caused, but a part of him was enjoying it, excited by it. His tail thickened and lengthened once more, stretching down to the floor as his poor, tortured shorts finally exploded off of his hips and thighs, fluttering to the floor in ruined tatters of black cloth.

He gritted his sharper teeth as he prepared for more changes to come in his new, monstrous body. He waited, and waited, but no more changes came. He took a moment to look down at his new body. It was still long and slender but massive. His tail and paws had grown huge and powerful and his great hands looked like wrecking balls when he curled them into fists. The opening on his chest opened and closed, gnashing its new teeth as though hungry. The shining metal gears on his tail and back clicked and spun as his spine arched and flexed. He had become a proper monster.
He looked down at his huge hands once more, then smiled as he experimentally slammed them into the floor. The tile beneath them shattered and a crack formed in the floor itself.

"
Oh DAMN that felt good..."

He grinned to himself, then winced as he felt the pain and nausea building in his gut again. He let out a low groan and slumped down onto his forearms as he rode out the accompanying dizziness, then gasped as he felt a surge of power race through his body. The gears on his back started to grind and cut their way through the ceiling as his body burst outwards. His huge, clawed paws dug deep and widening gouges through the floor as they slid across the room. His face pressed up against the far wall, his muzzle pushing through the hole he had hurled the couch through just a moment ago.

Straining with effort, he pushes his body upwards. His swelling muzzle causes the wall to crumble around it as the ceiling splits almost cleanly in two where the spinning gears on his spine sliced through it. He shoves the roof off of his back, letting it crash down onto the streets below as he rises up to fifty feet in height, and continues rising!

His massive paws sink into the floor as they stretch and grow, filling the room that had only held the bun mere seconds ago. He arches his back and stretches, feeling his body grow out somewhat unevenly here and there. It would start from an enlarged paw and race up his arm and across his chest, spreading through his body. Then from a paw, clawed toes shattering through a wall before racing down his tail, letting it crash to the ground with a meaty thump before gliding up his spine, stretching him up towards the heavens!

Within moments, the bun had surged to over five hundred feet, head and shoulders over most of the buildings downtown. Blinking in surprise, he saw another giant in the distance, rampaging through another part of town that looked like a wingless
charizard on steroids. He blinked, then threw his head back, bellowing out a challenging roar!

You can imagine his surprise when the roar was answered from behind. Turning his head, he saw a monstrous sabre toothed calico cat with long spikes jutting from the end of its club-like tail roaring and rushing right at him! She launched herself at the titanic rabbit and slammed into his chest, sending them both crashing through several skyscrapers, glass and rubble raining down all around them as he landed flat on his back with the feline perched atop him. She grinned and booped him on the tip of the nose.

"Hey, Spring! Is this cool or what?!"
