I think I’ve got an ear worm.
I know that may sound strange.
A worm? Enough to make me squirm.
But it’s a song, I can’t get out of range.

It’s in my head, both night and day.
It’s going round and round.
“Just stop!” You may hear me say,
When you can’t hear a sound.

It’s got me singing
a song I really do despise.
Inside my mind it keeps on ringing,
I even start to harmonise.

With my worm I sing along.
There’s no one else can hear it.
Although I really hate this song
There’s nothing that can clear it.

Will it please, just cease?
It’s got me humming along.
My brain is really craving peace.
I need to be rid of this song.
