Poem about prison
Here I sit as I Fade Away
The walls closing in day by day
I look out the window at the light blue sky
Today is the day I prayed to die

When the trial was over I said goodbye to my wife
As the judge handed down my sentence of 25 to life
Parents don't trust me
And the guards don't care

When the prison cell doors begin to lock
This is when the devil came to see me on D block
As I look up at the stars they began to sway
This is the story of how I faded away.
