Cooking meals with spicy herbs, not according to time, remembering how food overpowers, then I write. Baking cookies with glazed faces and wonderful smells, seeing each face as a superpower, then I write. Indulging in dreamy afternoon naps, lulled by rain seeking my muse from silver wet showers, then I write. Drying clothes with clothespins on an old-fashioned line. the scents of nature infusing what’s ours, then I write.
