Facing My Art and Embracing The Music

My time has arrived and I’m following my dreams, (pause / whisper) it’s true.
My art will shine bright, like the stars in our night sky.
I’ve been walking within my shadows embrace.
It’s time for my voice to be heard,
My feelings of love to be released.
For many years, I’ve embraced my silence,
Listening to the needs of the world,
And sacrificing my art by giving it all away.
Wearing my mask made of love.

I must follow my heart and face the music.
Armed with my art I have saved for myself. (pause /whisper with a smile while pointing to oneself) What, myself?
Our world fills my soul, with love for I know my role.
To encase you all with the love within what I create.

My soul has been freed, by the love within my heart.
Our art shall take wing, and shine for all to embrace.
My temple of love is within my heart and mind.
Just like a wall it’s built with art and creativity.
My words shall hit home, freeing our true potential.
Freeing us all from the trappings of enslavement,
Brought out of the darkness into our collective light.
