Gift For a New Bronze Dragon

A gold dragon sing to the Solstice moon,
proclaiming the joyous news to all,
a new bronze dragon was hatched that night
on the dragons' secret atoll.

The first to call was the mermaid queen,
with special gifts to bless his birth,
she gave him the recipe for dragon fire,
and the key to the greatest treasure on Earth.

Before she left, she gave him a pearl,
hanging form a gold and silver chain,
It had the power to call her for help,
or to produce a hurricane rain.

Now you know the legend of Darkrain,
the dragon that carries the mermaid queen,
into the eye of each hurricane.
