Beach

I see the photo and I itch
To pun on 'beach' and 'bitch'.
It's totally absurd
that 'bitch' is a bad word.

A female dog is not a curse
She is inspiration for this verse
She is gentle, she is kind
Better than most humans, I find.

She looks at us with loving eyes
She is faithful, she is wise
She does anything for a pat
Even befriending the haughty cat.

She has her downs, she has her ups
She has her playful little pups
She treats them with tender care
Love like hers is truly rare.

Why then, is 'bitch' derogatory?
Why doesn't it instead spell glory?
We humans don't know a blessing
We make the word an indecent thing.

We're undeserving in every way
Of the blessings we receive each day
We ignore or even disgrace them
When we should embrace them.

We mistreat animals, harm all nature
And thinks it gives us a higher stature.
We think we're making a big hit
Actually, we're full of s**t.

Let's leave the beaches to the bitches
They'll be less polluted, free of glitches
Let's leave the planet to the animals
They won't behave like common criminals.

Or at least, let's be truthful
and make 'human' a word that's hurtful.
Make it the foulest creature of all
The one that made the planet fall.

Let's stop being hypocrites
And match the word as it fits
'Homo sapiens' is the profanity
What has happened to humanity?
