Living your life to the fullest in the only day you have! This one.
Today is the "day" that the Lord has GIVEN me. I will rejoice and be GLAD in it.

Got up this morning on the wrong side of the bed -- feeling sad, depressed, upset, alone, without a cause, unhappy, and desolate. I started my morning prayer and meditation and just felt so lost and full of wonderment about my condition, the condition of my family, and the state of affairs in the world that I find myself in. LOST and without HOPE!

Then without warning, the scripture "This is the day that the Lord hath made, I will rejoice and be glad in it came into my mind. It kept repeating itself, and slowly, my mood changed, and a small amount of comfort came to me. I started thinking that this is the day that the Lord hath made, and I should rejoice and be glad in it.

Yesterday is gone, and no matter what happened yesterday, it is gone, and it cannot be redone. NO DO-OVER. DONE! Then as the light of day started creeping in, the birds outside started chirping, I asked myself the question, "what will I do with this day?" It is the day that the Lord hath made, but it is also another day that the Lord has given me. What will "I" do with it?

My first answer, I will be glad in it! I will be glad in it! I will be glad in it! Everything after that will be gravy. No matter what this day brings, I will be glad in it because my God has seen fit to give me another day, one that I have never seen before. I am the potter of this day, and I have the choice to do with it as I please -- sleep all day, be angry all day, work all day, or anything else that comes to mind, but I can CHOOSE to be glad in it no matter what else I choose to do.

Today is the "day" that the Lord has GIVEN me. I will rejoice and be GLAD in it.

Another saying from my Mother, "Choose your battle carefully, but once you have made the decision, be prepared to die for it!"

What will you do with this day that God has given you? CHOICE!

Peace and blessings to you and yours always!
