Taking a Break

I'm waiting for the words to come
They have been gone so very long

The thought of losing what brought such joy
Replaced by blocks that annoy

I've watched the videos, learned all the tricks
I'm doing the work but I must admit

What was so natural is now a stranger
Fighting with my love causes so much anger

I will not stop, I must not quit
But it takes so much to commit

Someday, maybe, we'll reunite
Perhaps today is when I'll write

It is my passion, it's what I love
My own true purpose sent from above

So it may flee but I'll find it fast!
Together again, we'll be at last
