"The Quill Awards" On WDC are a challenge for you and me We hone our writing as good as can be for readers joy, you see Show don’t tell is the story writers want and write with no wreckage Show the action is so true to write a story readers view Characters, scenes, and environment is written the readers are smitten As the story successfully unfolds it may make the quills the truth be told Readers vote with intentions to get the item to the quills mentioned Honorable mention is quite a treat making the quills can’t be beat No matter what your item's about having it nominated you can shout If you place high in the judging members here aren’t begrudging Congratulations to all the winners now it’s time for more quill diners Taking in the words as readers indulge it’s a banquet plot divulged Read and write at your best The quills show off your writing no less Write with might for readers delight Open Prompt: Write a poem 15 lines or less, Structured or Free Verse, on the topic of your choosing.
