Him

"Why won't you leave me alone?" I cry out
He doesn't answer me but instead lingers behind me.
I feel his presence like a weight on my chest, somehow reaching into it, pressing on my heart.
Tears stream down my face as my heart is ripped out of my body and into his bare hands.
I lay there silently, millions of questions going through my mind
Turning over to face the man that took my heart, building enough courage to finally ask for it back...
He's nowhere to be found.
He still lives on in my head
My nightmares
His touch still finds his way towards me
Even when he's 200 miles away
