Fragile as the autumn leaf

As fragile as the autumn leaf she is
Just a swirl of the wind blow
And there, she falls
But who oh who would know
What goes within her body and soul

An earthquake of tremors
Fire and heat of rage
They burn and shake in silence
And then flows like the rain drop
Starting with droplets and then
The downpour
Of tears and the heart that aches

Empathy,
Is all she seeks
Though she knows
It is rare in cruel world,
Hypocrisy, materialists, pretenders, selfish
That is all they are
No one to empathize
Standing on her shoes
Not even the extended family
Well, she doesn't have the family of her own

But yet, there is this thin thread
The string of hope
The image of weaving them together
There is also light that she sees
Dim...
But yet creating that shadow
Which make the image appear
Closer...and closer
