Turning around my life after being caught in the lure of the drug Ketamine.
You welcomed me
with an inviting smile,
and wrapped your arms around me.
You showed me freedom
from life as I knew it.
Freedom from myself.
You let me just be.
You defined purpose,
and meaning,
then made me believe
that we are perfect without them.
I could lay cradled by your presence
for eternity...
And so I must leave,
to find my way back
without you.
