The narcissist laughing with glee

The victim knows his time is short

He plans his future well.

Goodbye he says without emotion

Love and kisses with no forewarning

He knows that once the season finishes

He will take his final bow.

Trapped by society and prejudice

Police know he asked for help.

He holds a picture in his hands

His children are his life.

Yet now because of lies and deception

Failings of the justice system

He travels one last road , to escape her clutches

In death he can be free.
