of the status quo,
and the birth pangs
of a new normal.

It is the Apocalypse,
the meteorite
that destroyed the dinosaurs,
or the Lepidoptera larva
imprisoned in its pupa case.

Sudden change transforms
both mind and soul,
and gives birth
to a new civilization.
