Respect Can Help Our Light Shine

Know our world can transition
if we're willing to enhance
and increase our cognition
helping good and love advance.

It leaves me so heartbroken
to see disrespect increase
and pets act more housebroken
than smart-mouths that don't surcease!

So many are covetous
no longer helping neighbors—
we have become gluttonous
and lacking in our labors.

Let us be more kindhearted,
show good manners and respect.
Bring back hope once discarded—
watch earth's loving light project.
