Prayer from our Hearts

Bless our dear nurses
strengthen their labors, O Lord.

Bless our dear surgeons
steady their hands, O Lord

Bless our dear doctors
keep them alert, Father

We pray for our EMTS
God give them grace

We pray for our Officers
God give them grace

We pray for our Firemen
God give them grace

We pray for our essential workers
Holy Father, keep them safe.

For every tear that has been shed over every soul that has fled
We pray for Your Peace

For every father who must tuck their children alone at night
For every mother who squeezes their children tight
For every son and daughter whose parents they will miss
We pray for these
O Lord, send Your Peace

And for every soul who has passed without the dignity of an address
or proper family
We pray for these
O Lord, may they be in Your Peace
And if they be not, help us as a Church to weep for them
So that their loss may not be the loss of others who are left

Our merciful Lord, hear our prayer in this dark hour
Lead us out by Your Mighty Hand and help us each to understand Your will and time.
Heavenly Father, grant us peace we pray.
