"Skyscraper" By Demi Lovato
Skies are crying
Nothing left of me
Made of glass
Made of paper
Try to tear me down
As the smoke clears, I awaken
Watch me while I bleed
I'll be rising from the ground
Go run run run
I'm gonna stay right here
Break everything I am

Above are words to Demi Lovato's "Skyscraper". I could feel her emotions to this song; I can relate to what she was singing about, since I feel this happening in my life from time to time. My emotions can be very happy, and, yet, for whatever reason, there are people who would like to do nothing better than to tear me down, to watch me hit my rock bottom. My rock bottom is not reached through cigarette smoking, drinking, or drugs. It's through other people's insensitivity to the joy I have of writing.

I am going to write a poem by adding words to this song "Skyscraper" by Demi Lovato. I'm hoping that there will be a spark of hope that will inspire you to pick yourself up by not giving up, and to keep on trying.

Skies are crying
Let's keep on trying
Nothing left of me
Let's not stay there
Be the best that you can be

Made of glass
Don't let it break
You're not a mistake
Made of paper
You won't be torn apart
Take out the whiteout
Correct the words that have hurt you
Have only nice ones to say about yourself.

Try to tear me down
Don't listen to harsh criticism
It can only destroy you
As the smoke clears, I awaken
Don't let your heart be a breaking.

Go run run run
Don't stay here and ruin my fun
I'm gonna stay right here
Make yourself known, don't disappear.

Break everything I am
Do not let people break who you are
Pick up the broken pieces
And get ready for some new releases
Start a new chapter of your life
Alive and kicking
Be brave and keep your heart a ticking.

This song made me want to cry. No matter what life throws at you, you can't expect to be happy all the time, even though most people expect that from you.

It's okay to cry sometimes. It's easier to cry by yourself rather than out in public. I hear from people that they choose not to be around negative people. This is too bad. There are those of us who are homeless; it's not always our choice. When you don't have a place to live because of the high cost of living, be grateful that you have a place, because you never know when it can happen to you; I never dreamt that it would happen to me.

In a world of chaos, let's pull together and not get lost. Memories come and memories go. People come into your life for a reason, cherish them and learn from them; you'll never know how long you'll see them. Life is too short. Say a kind word today, and show your love in special ways.

Be friendly by thought, word, or deed. Care for those who are in need. Don't be judgmental.

This song had an impact on me. Demi Lovato did an excellent job in the video; I could hear her tears. Keep on believing.
