I feel for people who don't have pets. Their lives must be so drab, lacking in the technicolor confetti that comes from a puppy pulling magazines off of the coffee table. Their humor must be so dry, lacking in the puddles by the back door because they didn't hear their little one whining to get out. Their hopes must be so unattainable, lacking in the excitement of finding the puppy hasn't eaten the bag of chips left on the counter. Their lives must so be so lonely, lacking in the liquid eyes adoring them at their every move. I really feel for people who don't have pets.
