It's not such a normal walk home today, is it..?
         A man had just left work and on this specific day, he decided to walk down the boardwalk he passed every day on his way home. The past few days, when he walked by, something just didn't seem right but he couldn't seem to put a finger on it. There was an eerie sense that would ping in his brain and a chill would make its way down his spine. As he was walking down the boarded path, the water around him seemed to turn orange and slowly morphed into a fiery red as he made his way to the end. The man, slightly off-guard by the water, turned back to walk back to where he was before. He walked for a little while but didn't seem to be getting any closer to the land. In fact, he seemed to be pulled back by something because he was growing farther and farther away from the shore. The water on each side of the planks grew a darker red as if it were blood. As he continued to walk, he noticed the sun displayed the same red color as the rippling water. Starting to get anxious, the man took longer strides in hope of making it back to his normal pathway home as fast as he could. With each new step he took, the sky started to sink and the blood-like water started to rise on both sides of him. He was being closed in. The closer the elements moved to him, the hotter his body felt. Soon enough, the man's skin started smoking and it was extremely sunburnt.
