good bye..
Good bye

Why did I let you fall?
Would you have forgiven me at all?
I promised you that I'd never tell,
Because you said it was how you truly felt.

You looked at me,
While I looked at you,
You were asking for help,
But I didn't know what to do.

I was only a child you see,
So I didn't see your pain,
Or understand what you meant,
When you said "I just want it to end.."

I asked if you were okay,
But you just looked away,
So we walked hand in hand,
With our toes in the morning sand.

Fear is what I felt,
A day I never wanted to see,
You were not there next to me,
So fear is what I got to meet.

I ran to the bathroom,
And behind every door,
I searched every room,
But you were not there anymore.

They kept telling me you were gone,
But I knew that they were wrong,
Because you made me a promise,
To always stay strong.

But like all promises,
Some bend and break,
Just like my heart,
On they very day.

I cried every night,
Listening to the wind,
Begging to god,
Praying to him.

But like you,
I was ignored,
So I ran to our room,
And locked our door.

Now I sit on our bed,
I don't know what to do,
I have a gun in one hand,
And a letter I wrote to you.

I know you'll never get it,
Because you are gone,
But I know you'll be meeting me,
With wide open arms.

Over the mountains,
And through the trees,
There you are,
Waiting for me.

I hum our song,
And look to the sky,
With a gunshot to the head,
Now I'll say goodbye...
