So much to say. June 20, 2019
The Forgotten

I found myself all alone
Running from my past
Tired of unrequited love
Wanting something to last

Than I heard that voice
And I looked at her face
I remembered your words
Then she took your place

So I gave her my heart
And I forgot about you
She knew only heartache
And broke my heart in two

So I walk forgotten
I still walk alone

I found myself all alone
And waiting every night
Sang my sad heart out
Prayed with all my might

I took so much comfort
Knowing you were there
So alone in this world
Knowing that you care

So I gave her my heart
With nothing else to do
She knew only heartache
And broke my heart in two

So I walk forgotten
I still walk alone
