Chapter One Unto us a son is given.

It was a cold December day in Arkansas. The nurse held up the baby. She slapped his cold bare ass and the tears begin to flow. It was just hours ago that mom and dad had rushed to the military hospital. It was two years ago that dad had taken mom from college and started a new life together. Now into this world they brought a son. The filled out the paper work and named him Derrick. Little did they know the events that would shape him into the monster a mere nineteen years later. Dad pulled the old car around to the front of the hospital. It was a simple car and it served the family well. Being in the military, there was never much extra money. But the family had love and that sufficed them for the time being. Dad was on leave from his training in Biloxi. He came home to Missouri and one night of passion let to this marvelous day in December where a human life form was now entrusted to their capable hands. The drive home was full of laughter and smiles. Mom was so happy to have started a family. Dad drove and smiled as a proud father is likely to do. They pulled into the driveway of their simple house, parked in their simple garage and walked in the door. The baby was gently placed in the crib and they said goodnight.

But Derrick would have none of this, he had no meetings scheduled, no play dates yet, why would he want to go to sleep? No reason at all as he let out a loud scream. This first of many signals of pain that would fill his life.
