THIS COUNTRY

This Country

Political war is coming,
It’s waiting at our gate.
The two opposing party's,
No more than second rate.

Each seldom vote what is right
But stick to party lines.
Cash promised by lobbyists
Within their mind does shine.

Red votes stand together,
While blue does the same.
The party that’s in power
Will win without shame.

Some say Chambers will shake,
Both House and Senate will fall.
The common class will join
And win by standing tall.
