Their Kiss


They paused for a moment
Just before their kiss
Their eyes were locked
Saying more then any words

I turned away and smiled
Kept walking towards home
Thinking how lucky they are
To be in each others arms

I looked up at the stars
Softly whispered your name
Watched my breath disappear
Into the cold dark night

The city has so much people
And yet I walk alone
That's the way it will stay
Till my heart is finally home

They helped to give me courage
Gave me hope so I could wait
These young lovers on the street
They paused for a moment
