There is no place like home. Yes Dorothy. Here a person relates her feelings.Contest entry

Reality

My reality does not come out of a bottle.
I wait for its actuality at the twilight of the day.
I see reflections that could be in a dream.
All around me, is a sight of unimaginable beauty.
The sundogs of the Arctic have become visions
so awesome to me.
My tangled hair has little flakes of snow on it.
My warm breath comes out of my nose and freezes.
Yet I do not feel the intenseness of the cold outside because I enjoy being here.
The loneliness I previously felt disappears when I see my boyfriend's dogsled coming over the hill.
That and the mixture of the colors remind me that this is not a deception, but a marvel that will remain with me for a long time.

Sundog/Parhelia is a bright spot in the sky appearing on either side of the sun formed by the refraction of sunlight through ice crystals high in the earth's atmosphere.
