i don't know what to put here
When you see a rainbow in black and white,
you don't see a rainbow at all.

you see nothing but different shades of grey,
and instead if feeling a childish euphoria, you feel an empty nothing.

because when you turn off your ability to see colour,
you turn off your ability to feel.

When people speak to you,
it's as if they feel sorry for you; because you can't see colour.

But who cares, right?
but what if you want to see the striking blue of your father's eyes, or the bright green of the grass?

You can't see colour, until he comes into your life.
all of a sudden, the sky was lilac, your hair was green, and the world around you was bright again.

You felt euphoric, perfect, like you were flying.
You had a family, a home, a life worth living.

Until he left.
and you were back to not seeing colour, and back to the pain you called

Depression.

But this is supposed to be a fantasy world where if you find your soulmate, you can see colour, right?
nope, this is just love and heartbreak and the torturous mental illness called depression.
you love someone, and they leave you, and you slip back into nothingness.
