Grant Me Peace

GRANT ME PEACE
In this world of toil and strife
God grant me a peaceful life.
Do not take from me my share
Of this world's problems, these I bare
With gratitude because I know
Through our trials we will grow.

But grant me peace within my heart
So that I may do my part
To bring to all love of Thee,
Which they might find through knowing me.
Teach us love was meant to share
And guide us Lord through daily prayer.

Create in us spirits of righteous endeavor
That we may dwell with Thee, Father, forever.
