I Had to Climb

I had to Climb June 10, 2018

I didn't have a dream to long for, but as I got wiser about some things I realized that dream of mine was unfolding right before my eyes. I didn't have a path, the path before me chose me. I didn't know who I wanted to be or what I wanted to do. I struggled with multiple things in my life, but it made me who I am today, and I don't regret it. I didn't like the challenges I faced, but I don't regret the path that I walked. People will try to tell you who you are, and I let that control me. They said I couldn't do it, I HAD TO CLIMB. They said I didn't have what it takes, I HAD TO CLIMB. They said I wasn't tough enough, I HAD TO CLIMB. They said I was too small, I HAD TO CLIMB. They said I wasn't good enough, I HAD TO CLIMB. They said I wasn't strong enough, I HAD TO CLIMB. They said no you can't, GOD SAID YES YOU CAN. I chose to listen to God. We all have mountains to climb. I've chosen not to stay down. I've chosen to climb my mountain. When I get to the top it's not about being better than anyone else, it's about being better than I was yesterday. All I care about is being with God. I've chosen to climb my mountain.
