Jack has an uncomfortable morning.
Jack awoke with a sheen of sweat covering his body, shivering, and utterly, terrified. He quickly climbed out of bed, slamming his hand forcefully onto his alarm clock. He shot out of bed and quickly removed his clothing and got into the shower. As he felt the warmth of the water gently caressing his skin, he only thought of his late father's blood, covering him, soaking him. He completed his shower and hurriedly combed through his hair, and put on his favorite, " I got your back. " graphic tee. He exited his room and bounded down the stairs. He saw Abigail already contently chomping on her cereal. " Good morning, Abigail. ", he said. She looked up at him and smiled. Jack could see the light shining onto her perfectly curled locks, making them look as if they were molten gold. He sat down at the table as his mom ushered over with a pitcher of orange juice, pouring it into his glass. " What type of cereal do you want, Jack? " Jack had no appetite as a result of his nightmare so he simply replied with, " Oh, um, I- um. Imma just, uh, eat breakfast at school. " She nodded and her blond hair almost completely mimicking her daughter.
