The ghoulish figurative hunger of possession
A man has a reoccurring nightmare. The woman, also demon, looks up at him slowly. Her skin looks as it feels soft, radiating lush beams of light. A pale, deep and full, white face shoots arrows of a stare. With an entrancing gaze upon him, he is observing from behind himself, watching the moment in whole. He is in awe. He is also terrified. The intimate setting of a candle lit dinner, the scraps of decadence only remain. She is still hungry. She ushers in fear. He has never seen such hunger. The cold, steel blade has no feelings. He starts leaking before he even noticed. Helpless. It is getting colder. Foot steps approach, a chain drags slowly behind. There are many voices. They are all laughing.

The man wakes up. After shaking off such a startling state of affairs he attends to his typical routine. Off to Work.

In his office he hunkers down on some reports. A few people gathered outside his office peeking through his slit in the mauve, tacky drapes. He barely acknowledges them.

He looks again minutes later, the whole office starring him down. He suddenly is observing the back of his head. HIs whole office is hungry.
