Poems written for Poetry Class
White Spring

Robins, red-winged blackbirds all
warble, trill, chirp and sing.
Sitting in the trees so tall.
Calling out to bring forth spring.

Trees growing close together.
Green tips waving in
the white, snowy weather.
Calling out to bring forth spring.

Faintly green, barely seen,
hardly seems their real.
Leaf buds aren’t a dream.
Oh, I hope so.

Grey trees crowned with green.
Sunshine shows the truth.
Fodder for the early birds.
Oh, I hope so.
