About a girl experiencing her first snow fall!
The sun was shining but it was so cold
It made her feel a little more bold
She put on her coat and boots, going
for a walk
Where she needed some fresh air she had
no time to talk
The phone was ringing but she didn't
answer the ring
Instead she opened the door to welcome
the cool air that made her heart go zing, zing.

There was no snow yet the weather called
for it later that day
Where she hoped that it would snow in the
worst way
She loved to feel the snowflakes falling all
around her
Where it felt more magical and she didn't
feel so insecure.

Where she was walking for a mile or two,
soon she saw not one snowflake but a few
She laughed like a little girl as she stuck
out her tongue
Where it made her feel all very young
The snowflake melted off her tongue as
she held out her hand
Where she watched the snowflake safely
land..

Where she didn't feel cold anymore,
the way she had felt before
Now she felt all warm and tingly inside
The way she concealed her emotions,
trying not to hide...
The joy she felt at the sight of the snow
How it made her face all a glow.

There is nothing better to having to be
in the first snow fall
It made her feel ten feet tall
The sun was fading now it was going away
At least she had the snow that was
surely going to stay.
