Brief Description: A poem about a lonely sidelined girl and her star crush
As the dream faded, she cashed it forlorn
It was too good a dream not to be true
She didn't want to return to reality
For she had waited for this so long.

How could she go back to her world Where no one did as much as glance at her,not even him
She was a girl of few words
That made no sense, except in the face of a pseudonym.

In her dream, she was the most popular girl
Everyone's proper prom queen
He was just one of those she made to whirl
Though he was her own personal caffeine.

She was still in a reverie
When the sound of her classmates laughter brought back reality
She had fallen asleep staring at him in class
And now she had fallen, ending the dream.

Amidst the laughter and shame, she tried to pick herself up
There came an outstretched, strong and muscular arm of help
She looked up to see his face, compassion in it
Her heart leapt, her dream was finally coming true.
