How someone may feel when their love is taken for granted.
Die For You

I would give my life for you
But what good would it do?
Wrapped up in yourself
You put my love upon a shelf.

I could talk with you
But what good would it do?
Only your feelings count
Mine you immediately discount.

I would take a bullet for you
But what good would it do?
All you do is complain
Much to my deep disdain.

I could chase dreams with you
But what good would it do?
My dreams have since died
And desires of my heart tossed aside.

I would give my life for you
But what good would it do?
Wrapped up in yourself
You put my love upon the shelf.
