Unexpected Grace

I search the diamond studded sky,
as I raise my voice and cry,
seeking answers as to why,
and a way to cope.

Then the questions multiply,
and the silence only testifies,
as doubt comes rushing to imply...
there is no hope.

This journey can be such a trial,
heartaches, joys, tears, smiles;
But when it all comes down,
the truth will be found...

In knowing miracles may be mysteries,
but they speak clear as glass to me,
and all the blessings we embrace,
in this life, they are just a taste...

A glimpse of heaven, here on earth,
a gift of unexpected grace.
