An old man talks for the last time about an inevitable future.
I’d like your hair long. Just like the stars pouring out its milky way upon our Earth. It seems magical at first, and it gets more emotional as the night became silent. I’d like your hair long because you represent a Goddess of Beauty of Egypt that I don’t know her name – it seems history is quickly forgotten, and the generations of youngsters became lost in their fight against what they believe… against what they hold into, and it is dearest to them. Ah, what am I expected… if the generation is lost to something bigger than their own history, how could we remember those who fought for our today’s rights, eh stars? As the last generation of the Old Man, I’d like to say that I cursed… myself.

Sorry, I didn’t see you there, I was talking to the stars about how ideology and indoctrination separated us from what we hold dear, from somewhat we could love… something that is becoming a part of our life. How was your day, youngster? I hope it’s all summer and shiny; unlike me who lives under the shade of rain and never comes out – enjoying life for what it is and for what it’s worth as long as I roam this world. I apologise that I didn’t see you coming, the stars are… more fascinating than our society… our decayed, rusted society. Where everyone seems to be the most righteous of all, but in the end, they just spread lies and hate – not the truth nor compassion.
Ah, where are my manners? My name isn’t necessary for you to know, but whoever you are, please have a seat beside me and grab a cup of tea or coffee, maybe an old wine could accompany us longer than eternity itself. So, what are you doing in my upside down world? Is there something you’d like to see or experience? If so, I’m afraid that I cannot show such things because we are waging war with a group called the Eternity of Emptiness. This baddie somewhat abducts people and tell them to forget all kinds of history. Literature, Philosophy, Physics, Mathematics, Languages, Culture and Customs, you name it. They hate the damn thing and burn everything to the ground… museums, libraries, pivotal websites to our history, it’s all destroyed as we speak. We are forced to obey their rule and to appreciate their stories. To make it a little worse, they issued numerous of armies, combined and trained, armed to the teeth, to seek those who object their rule. Killing them on the spot or hang them to death.

I don’t know if you realise this, kid, but since we can’t go back to the city to defend what’s left of our history, please take a seat on that old log and grab my spare mug. I have tea coming right up, and you should get something that will soothe your soul.
So, what is your name? Are there any meanings to the name that bestowed upon you? Is it worthed for you to get yourself called by that name by many strangers? How do you feel about it personally? Is it cringe, sub-par, or was it so awesome that when people heard your name in all of the sudden they’ve just met a God or a Goddess sent down from the heavens? Whoever your name is, it’s a blessing that is not taken lightly.

You’d probably still wonder who is my name, right? Like I stated before, my name isn’t necessary for you to know. I am just an old man, living in the past, relinquish everything that I can remember, and live it until the day the Heavens take me away. Let’s continue this journey on the next page… or part… or whatever you youngsters called it.
