Lousy

Sitting in this lousy car
Writing down these lousy bars
Wondering how I use these lousy words
To calm my lousy nerves
Living in this lousy squalor.
Drowning in a lousy parlor
Lousy writing lousy songs
Lousy feelings last too long.

Man I've been feeling lousy
Even when I whip it flip it speed don't get a ticket
I only rush for a few minutes then I'm right back in it
Doubt is closing in
Picture perfect porcelain
On her skin
Still got me feeling lousy

Man why can't I write a song as good as Chance do
Why can't I be like Kendrick make songs people dance to
Why can't I be as famous as Drake
I been putting work in & the name still out ain't
Lake
But it's okay
Imma get past that point one day
Maybe not today, but soon

But for right now

Man I'm feeling so lousy
Even when I find air to breathe, finally get my glasses clean and fall asleep & have a good dream
Everything still isn't as it seems
I got my doubts closing in
Picture perfect porcelain
On her skin
Still got me feeling lousy

Man I gotta break outta this slump
So fed up taking all these lumps
But no more
Yea it takes time do it right, soda pour
Do this I will, Yoda you can call me
Hard & determination and look where it got me
Sitting thinking whipping in a Bently
Sounds good don't you see?
Of course you do. What am I even saying
Losing track of all the stuff my brains creating
