what is the pride of others worth?
when it costs the life a freedoms birth.
when the calls are made by men of girth,
who know no more than a spark on the hearth!
\what does the cost of freedom bring?
when the fall of wrath is but a thing.
when wars are fought by men in suits,
who are lower than dirt under our boots

what is the price of blood and grief?
when the effort to exhaust is all but brief.
when the men who point proclaim as chief,
when regrets come in the form of a thief!
\what is the meaning of loss and pain?
when the heartbeats of souls are like a stain.
when the men rule have no shame,
when the reason nothing but gain!
\what do we do when choice is no more?
when the thoughts of of nation become folk lore.
when the men who tirade become the de'cour,
when justice means no more than greed and war!
\what has become of our oasis?
when our beuaty and splendor into stasis.
when the men we believe turn in disgeaces,
when under GOD becomes a political prognosis!
