I See

I never realized the depth of your love.
I never realized what you were really made of.
But being a parent has opened my eyes.
I laugh when she laughs. I cry when she cries.
I feel what you feel. I see what you see.
I feel the love of a parent that's inside of me.
Through your unending love you have shown me the way.
I now know the love you give every day.
I love you my parents because you have given your love.
And I have finally discovered what parents are really made of.
I never realized how great parents could be.
But now when I see you... finally... I see.
