Stand Alone chapter from an interactive; A boy given a slightly gender inappropriate gift |
Foreword: A boy is to be given a gift for his sixteenth birthday. Among these option choices, a bra and panty set. This is my treatment of that option. Chapter 5: Red and Lacy addition by: Aurthor I couldn’t believe it. Dad gets called in to work on his day off, leaving me alone with the twins. That part I didn’t mind, the two of them pretty much took care of themselves as long as I didn’t let them get too carried away, at least Zoe did. Emma could get out of control real fast if left on her own. I’d been tasked with watching them ever since I was old enough to baby sit, which helps dad out a lot. No, the part I minded was that it was my birthday and we had made plans to spend the day at a local water park. Sure, you may think it wasn’t the greatest way for a 16 year old guy to spend his time, watching two 8 year old kids in the wading pool, but it was family time and dad would have been there. Plus, not all the girls hanging around the wading pool with their little sisters were 8 years old, if you get what I mean. But then dad’s boss dropped the ball and dad had to go in to fix things up so the company wouldn’t lose their big contract and my dad wouldn’t lose his job, so my big day of sun and fun and eye candy got cancelled. So here I was in the kitchen, licking a batter smeared mixing spoon and waiting for the timer to ding. Yeah, I get to make my own birthday cake too, but that I didn’t mind. At least I knew it would be my favorite flavor. When I cook I always got the spoon, the twins each got a beater, and we all shared the bowl. That was our family tradition. I knew something was up when Emma didn’t wait to finish off the bowl, but ran out of the room. She was back in seconds, pushing a wrapped package on me while her sister protested. “Emma! You were supposed to wait. It was a surprise and now you’ve ruined it”. “Hey”, I said, “it’s still a surprise. I wasn’t expecting anything”. The last thing I wanted today was another sibling squabble, especially over something like this. “But we’re supposed to wait to give it to him, and that ruins the surprise”. Zoe continued to protest. “No it doesn’t”, stated Emma, “See, he’s still surprised. Plus this way he can enjoy our surprise now and have lots of time to enjoy dad’s surprise later. If he waits and opens it later then he will have to try to enjoy them both at the same time, which means he would have to devote half his enjoyment to one gift and half his enjoyment to the other gift, and each gift would only be half enjoyed. So to get full enjoyment of both gifts he has to open ours now, see? Besides, it’s almost Five to Eleven”! Emma lost me at some point. I swear 8 year old logic is the weirdest thing in the world. Zoe obviously did not have the same trouble following her sisters logic, as her “Ohhh. I see” Indicated she had come around to Emma’s point of view so fast I swear I could almost hear her brain spinning. “So now he has to open it, now”! “You want me to open it now”? I asked, pretty sure of what the answer would be. The pair of them chanted in unison “Open it! Open it! Open it”. God, when those two are in sync they are really cute. A little scary sometimes, but still cute none the less. Oh, I teased them a bit, pretending to think it would be better to wait for dad, but that was just to keep them going. In reality I think I wanted to open the box almost as much as they wanted me to. So before they got too wound up I opened the box. I am pretty sure my jaw hit the floor when I saw what was inside. As I stood there in shock, I turned to look at the girls, trying to keep my face as neutral as possible. They’re good girls, and they try, and I love them very much. Above all else I didn’t want them to think I didn’t appreciate that they’d gotten me a gift, but of all the things I could have imagined finding in that charmingly wrapped box, a pair of lacy red panties and matching bra set would not have made the list. but why this particular one. I tried desparately to think of a way to ask them why they would think this was appropriate gift for their 16 year old brother, but my brain went into overload and what came out sounded more like “Uuuhhhh”? The pair of them stood there hugging each other and giggling like crazy, then bolted for the living room when they heard the back door open. Still in shock, I turned to see Alison letting herself in the back door. Now don’t get me wrong. Alison was a good friend, and we always let ourselves into each other’s houses without bothering to knock. But this was to be one of those times I wished she wasn’t so free with her coming and goings. Or at least I would have been, had my brain actually been functioning instead of still trying to reboot itself. “Hey there, birthday boy” Alison said, closing the door and coming into the kitchen, “What’ca got there”? My brain, obviously still sitting at a mental DOS C;\ prompt, totally failed to override my body’s instinct to hand the package to Allison for her to look at, and by the time I realized the error she was looking curiously into the box. After a moment, or a minute maybe, time was weird at that point, she looks up and stares at me, with an odd look on her face. Around about this point my brain came back online, or at least the parts handling speech did, the rational thought section was still running a scan disk for errors, which explains why I fumbled out what seemed to be a perfectly logical explanation. “It’s a birthday gift. From the twins. For me to enjoy as much as possible until dad gets home”. Oh God, what did I just say? ”Not me wearing them, that’s not what I mean. They wouldn’t fit me, not like they’d fit you. Obviously they’re made for someone like you. Hey, maybe you can wear them instead and I can enjoy you in them. I mean, you can enjoy them for me, and I can enjoy you enjoying them.”. My brain finally caught up with my tongue and body slammed it onto the mat, too late. If there was a shade of blushing beyond furious I had already passed it. Now that my brain had my tongue firmly in a head lock, the only sound in the kitchen was the ticking of the cake timer. Alison just stood there, looking at me with the oddest expression on her face. “Why, Brandon Hawking” she finally said, “That is the weirdest, creepiest, most convoluted proposition I have ever received”. I stood there, once more shocked into immobility. “If you honestly expected this to work, at the least you should have bought me dinner and a movie first”. “Wha..”? My brain let my tongue up, just a little. “Oh God. I didn’t …”? “And flowers. Flowers would have been nice, too”. “Wha..”? “Just kidding. About the flowers I mean. How’s tomorrow at seven sound”? “Uhhh,,, okay, I guess”. “Okay, she smiled, “It’s a date. See you then”. With a wink she blew me a kiss, then turned and left, pausing only to wave in the direction of the living room before the door closed behind her. What the heck just happened? I turned to see Emma and Zoe high fiving. “Yeah, that totally worked”! one of them said. My brain was still been sitting on my tongue, but I managed to get out “What worked”? “Well,” said Zoe, “Alison’s been trying to get you to notice her for a while now”. “Yeah,” added Emma, “but she says you’re too clueless to catch on”. “So we decided to help” added Zoe. “And dad says that boys are always trying to look at girls in their underwear” “Yeah”, stated Emma, “so we figured that if we got you some underwear to give her, she’d let you look at it and you’d notice her”. “And it total worked” the two of them finished, once more in unison. “You little rats,” was all I could think to say. “You set me up”! The sound of their laughing as they ran to their bedroom was their only response. Authors Note: Feedback is welcome. This was an addition to an interactive story, since deleted, where the previous poster had the chapter option had a bra and panty set being given to a 16 year old boy as a birthday gift. Chapter 1: Reliving the Past Chapter 2: 3 Years ago Chapter 3: More items Chapter 4: A bra and panty set Chapter 5: Red and Lacy I decided to run with it. I kind of like how it came out. |
