A fan made tribute to Pink Floyd's The Wall. Had to shorten title only allowed 40 Chars.
Well I was going to talk about how Dad’s death was, as my previous psychologist said, “the first brick in my social wall” but just yesterday I got word from a friend that they found a documentation of what happened that black day in 44. So it was around dawn on the day. Then Dad’s commander was given the orders to stay on the bridge head and defend the other retreating and cowardly generals when he asked for his troops to be withdrawn. I hope that the generals gave thanks while they ran because while that was happening the other ranks held back the enemy tanks for as long as they could. Eventually during this Dad died to a plane over head crashing into the hole of the trench in which he and some other troops were in. But at least the other generals got out right I mean they only lost about a hundred innocent
lives.
Now that I have these details I have to say that this just pisses me off more than when I originally found out that dad was dead, but that is for another time. I swear to god if Dad had just died on the battlefield during a raid or defending an outpost I would be fine with it. But no he had to die so some cowardly bastards could flee the battlefield because they were afraid to look death in the eye and accept it. Dad had to die because the military decided that his life meant nothing to the world in the grand scheme of things but they let cowards live because they gave so much to the war. It is like they sent my father and the other troops of his unit into a slaughter house instead of the battlefield.

I hope that those cowards burn in hell for what they did to dad.
