10. In a free day with no responsibilities, she’d spend her time cooking and crafting.
11. When people first meet her, she seems reserved, without a smile. Bit by bit, when she’s known someone for a while, she’d open up to a different personality.
12. Problem with her is, to get her way, she’d occasionally lie. She’s got a short temper too, which she regrets afterwards.
13. If she could, she would spend one last day with her Mom, who passed away just after her little sister was born.
14. She believes in Allah, tries to pray at least once a day. She doesn’t use the Hijab, though.
15. The worst thing that has happened to her so far, is the death of her mother, when she was just 12. She has been looking after her little sister ever since.
16. She’s always afraid of losing either her father or her sister, because she doesn’t want to deal with death any more.
17. What she likes best about herself is her loyalty towards family and friends. She does not like her temper.
18. Nabila’s father is courting a widow, and Nabila does not like this fact. Her younger sister likes the lady, though.
19. She wanted to go to the USA for further studies, but her father didn’t allow her that. Later in the story, we get to know that he did this because of a promise to his dying wife.
20. She cares about her grades, and she studies really hard.
21. Money doesn’t seem to buy her all the happiness.
22. She knows money is not the only thing in life, yet it is a necessity, so she tries to earn her pocket money herself. Her father also supports her financially.
23. She teaches two second graders for three days a week, she also does some freelancing via upwork.com.
24. She knows that the widow is a nice lady, yet she’s afraid that someone else will take their mother’s space in their life.

10) She regrets that she doesn’t have any siblings.
11) Andrew loves her a lot, yet, Pristine misses her family. She silently wishes that she had her parents near her, like Nabila does.
