A poem in Tanka format, loosely about the world situation
An infinite jest
all of us merely players
on a vast world stage
Science, history, mere props
knocked askew - yet not altered


Tanka is a traditional unrhymed Japanese poem consisting of five lines of 5/7/5/7/7. Those are not necessarily syllables, though I tend to use them as syllables. You can read more at Tanka form  Open in new Window.
