Time to get serious.
I lay my hand upon ole pages. A heart weakly beats. The gentle electric suddenly pluses. I'm still Here.
Time to get serious.
I look at the dusty ole pages. Curled edges. Mug rings dried. Tiny burned ringlets of embers to your once pure perfect white and black.
Time to get serious.
I hear the crinkling mature ole pages. Hushed soft whispers. Where ya been. I've missed you.
Time to get serious.
I answer weakly the Ole pages. Ya know... Work. Marriage. Kids. life. I've thought about you though. I've missed you too.
Time to get serious.
I gaze upon the ole pages. Crying fades of words. Tear stained streaks of loneliness. Whispered screams. We are here. We've waited for you.
Time to get serious.
I turn the first ole pages. A familiar welcomed pain. Your titled crown gleams. Your first page speaks those first Three words. I hit my knees kneeling to you once again.

I turn the second ole pages. Gentle comes the first sweet words. A smile as fingers tremble. Pushed forth hands for the shackled cuffs. Mind screams I am yours once again ole pages.

I smile to the ole pages. Clinks of ice heard in the glass. The whiskey cool ready to be consumed. Smoke rings tarry upward assaulting the air. Music low. Fingers upon on the keys..

I open my eyes to the ole pages. Inhale deep, hard, flick flick, smoke rings. Clink, clink goes the Ice to the lips. Shackled Cuffs jingle as fingers begin. A whisper. Time to get serious.
I ask the ole pages. Now where were we my muse? His answer, looking down, smiling at me... Right were you need to be... It's time... Tap, tap, tap, tap....
